Nutrition Programs Life Skills and Employment Readiness Shelter Services
We are the food pantry serving the poor in the City of Arcata. Very generous community members, grocery stores and farmers give their surpluses to help local residence in need.  We provide food boxes for local residence and hot lunches. Our Back to Basics program works with local business persons, clergy, government and community agencies to help clients prepare for successful entry into the work force, trade or school. From street sweeping to clearing brush we can provide a team of program trainees to assist you at affordable rates. Individuals from our program are provided opportunity to network and provide manual labor in the community.  We offer emergency shelter services. In partnership with the Humboldt All Faith Partnership Night Shelter and with four churches the Arcata Endeavor helps organize an extreme weather shelter.
